The Spot was my thesis film at NYU. It won the sole faculty commendation in comedy the year it debuted at NYU’s First Run Film Festival, as well as an award in screenwriting and acting for the lead, Dani Adaliz (Sullivan at the time). It went on to screen at the Marfa Film Festival, a festival all about periods in New York (The Unmentionables Film Festival), and a festival in Sweden.
